Flag Ceremony - Cypress City Council
The group will perform the flag salute at the Cypress City Council meeting on Monday, March 23rd. All girls must wear a proper uniform for the event. Red polo shirt with black or navy pants (no jeans). We want to look our best when we represent Camp Fire USA in the community. We will meet at Stanford at 6:00 p.m. to carpool to the City Hall. We should be back at Stanford by 7:30 p.m.
Spring Break Camp Available
Camp Fire USA will offer a day camp during spring break April 13-17 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $120 for all five days or $90 for 3 days. Program Activities include: cooking over the campfire, rock climbing, archery, arts and crafts, outdoor education, sports, and games. Contact Camp Fire USA at 421-2725.
Project Groundbreakers Workshop
A workshop will be held at the Council Lodge on Saturday, April 4, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to train camp fire leaders and parents in native gardening and planting techniques. Two community volunteers who work on the redesigned front yard at the Lodge will be on hand to train us how to take care of native plants and gardens. Please RSVP to Marci at Camp Fire at 421-2725.
